The work of seven area artists — all women and some of them with formidable reputations — comprises the show Inked Images: Seven Printmakers. Participating artists include Abbey Blake, Amy Casey (whose work from a show earlier this year is pictured), Liz Maugans (one of the c0founders of the 20-year-old Zygote Press, a local hub for printmakers), Wendy Partridge, Nicole Schneider, Lisa Schonberg, and Paula Zinsmeister.
The show opens with a reception Sat 10/15 @5-8pm at the Beachwood Community Center and remains on view from Sun 11/6.
