Talespinner Children’s Theatre, the longtime dream and creation of Cleveland actress/director/costumer Alison Garrigan, has been presenting professional children’s theater and classes for area children for five seasons now.

The productions it mounts are multi-media, interactive affairs with colorful masks, costumes and props, music, dancing and more. Its annual benefit Harlequinade is just as colorful and fun.

The two-part fundraiser features an evening benefit for adults on Saturday and a family party on Sunday. The adult party will include a premiere of TCT’s upcoming 2017 production The Brementown Musicians, so guests can be first to see what’s in the pipeline.

There’ll also be munchies, wine and beer, a silent auction, music, dancing and free entry to the family event if you want to come back the next day and bring the kids. Tickets are $50 for an individual, $90 for a couple — so bring a special friend of any gender. After 9pm it’s only $25 for wine, beer and dancing.

Part 2 convenes on Sunday @ 2pm with a performance and ice cream social. Bring the kids! It’s $10 for 12 and under, $15 for grown-ups. Seniors and college students with ID are $12.
