Maelstrom Collaborative Arts is always game to try something new, one of the constants in its decade of existence.

Its latest new thing is called “Garage Experiments.” It’s described “an experiment in coming together again & an opportunity to witness & connect.” It’ll feature two evenings of performance art and dance with seven artists — Elaine Hullihen, Kayli Salzano, Martinique Mims, Samuel McIntosh, Sarah Holmes Villenueva, Sara and Emily Liptow. It will take place in the Galleria Garage downtown at 1000 Lakeside Avenue.

The performances are limited to 20 cars each night. Each will enter the garage, collect a parking ticket, which is covered in the cost of admission, and will be show to a specific parking slot. Attendees will be able to stay in their car or stand or sit outside it with a mask on. Tickets are a sliding scale of $20-$40 per car. Go here to buy them.
