Once upon a time — a very long time ago — Euclid Avenue was the most fashionable street in Cleveland, equal to the Gold Coasts in the any other city. It was lined with the mansions of the wealthy, including some of the tycoons whose names whose names still grace buildings in the Cleveland area.
But Millionaires’ Row itself declined in the 20s and 30s, and now, only a handful of its mansions remain standing. Learn more about the history of Euclid Avenue and the changes it’s been through over the year, the people who used to live there and the types of homes they built in a program presented by the Cleveland History Center. Register for the event here.
