It’s October 1 and Forest City Brewery says, “It’s that time of year when we break out the ghoulish decor!” Well, they’re really late. It’s been all over TJ Maxx since August. We salute their restraint.
Now they’re kicking off Halloween month with an afternoon called An Erie Affair. They’ll have DJ spinning scarrrrrry tunes, while you browse a lineup of some three dozen local vendors of unique original and handmade stuff, ranging from plants to jewelry to candles to makeup to baked goods and sweets. (You can find a complete list here.) Get prepared for December holidays it’s too soon to think about — oh wait, are those Christmas decorations I see at TJ Maxx?
Of course the bar will be open so you can linger over drinks and admire our purchases. The event is free and open to all.
