Oh no — not another school holiday already! And it’s in the middle of winter so you can’t tell the kids to just go outside to play.
Luckily, the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is open for free for a President’s Day celebration that includes a Meet the Presidents presentation at 1pm and a chance to have your photo taken with one of the “presidents,” including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. Famous presidential speeches will be screening, there will be crafts and other activities related to presidential history, and all the regular exhibits, as well as the museum’s current special exhibition Israel Then and Now, will be open. And kids get a kosher cookie!
