Artists Archives of the Western Reserve is among the many cultural organizations honoring Women’s History Month with a special program
It’s called Women of the Archives: Oral Histories Premiere and Artist Talk. It’ll feature the first showing of five-minute oral history segments with three women whose work is archives at the institution — Elaine Albers Cohen, Gloria Pevin and Judy Takács, produced by local filmmaker Ted Sikora. After that, Takács and Plevin, along with artists Charlotte Lees and Lee Heinen, will engage in a moderated conversation followed by an audience Q&A. The women are part of an exhibit put together by AAWR called Women of the Archives currently on display at Judson Manor.
