SHED Projects is a new gallery in town, opened earlier this year — with a twist. It’s a home where small, select projects are on view during limited hours.
It opens its next show called Echoes this weekend, with works by two artists: Melissa Pokorny and Lucy Puls. Sculptor/installation artist Pokorny is a professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne, while Puls, whose pieces are created by transforming found items and materials, is based in Berkeley. Both have exhibited extensively around the country.
The show will be on view through August 3, with hours Thursday and Friday at noon-3pm and Saturdays at noon-5pm.
