It won’t be the typical blues/classic rock night at Cebars Euclid Tavern this Saturday, when two bands which play distinctive original music take the stage for an evening at which each will also debut a new music video.
The night will open with a set by the noisy, adventurous, jazz/punk ensemble Duo Decibel System, literally a duo comprising guitarist/vocalist Miss Melvis and drummer John Scully. They recently performed in New York City and will return there in August to do a series of unique-for-each-purchaser recordings under the auspices of Brooklyn-based Leesta Vall Sound Recordings.
They’ll play from 9-9:50pm, followed by a Duo Decibel video and the premiere of the single “Skylark” by the band that follows them on stage, Kiss Me Deadly, a four-piece indie pop band fronted by vocalist/guitarist Jen Poland.
