Singer, songwriter and guitarist Raul Midón launched his prolific career after graduating from the University of Miami in 1991. He sang background vocals on more than five dozen Latin records and toured as part of Colombian pop star Shakira’s band before moving to New York City. There his professional horizons expanded dramatically and he had opportunities to perform with artists such as Sting, Herbie Hancock, Renée Fleming, Terence Blanchard and Dianne Reeves. The latest of his 14 albums, titled Lost & Found, was released last year; they showcase his fusion style of soul, jazz and pop.
Midón will be performing at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Get tickets here.
