“The Wolves” @ Dobama Looks at Travails of Teen Girl Soccer Players

Fri 3/7-Sun 3/30

Sarah DeLappe’s one-act play The Wolves debuted off Broadway in 2016. It subsequently had two more Off Broadway runs, and was a finalist for the 2017 Pulitzer Prize for drama.

The play revolves around the nine members of a girls’ high school soccer team. It’s one of those plays where a group of different individuals start to reveal their secrets, fears and dreams as they’re thrown together in an intimate situation where they have to work together. They talk about their bodies, their futures, and world politics as they navigate their own relationships with each other and deal with a tragedy.

The play will be onstage at Dobama Theatre throughout the month of March, opening Friday March 7 and closing Sunday March 30. Go here for tickets.
