SHED Projects Opens New Show and Invites Guests into Living Space for One Night Only

Sat 3/8 @ 5-9PM

Gabrielle Banzhaf and Jon Goot started SHED Projects in their home after moving back to Cleveland in 2023. They turned the upstairs of the historic house in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood into their living quarters and the downstairs into an art gallery that’s primarily a site for thought-provoking installation art.

Their first show of 2025 is Charles Mayer’s A Lifetime of Drawing in the Year of the Snake, on view through 29. “Mayer has been an integral part of our extended family—Jon’s second-grade art teacher and a mentor for over 30 years,” they say.

Also opening on March 8 — but for one night only — is Gott’s “experience” hຟē໐l (wheel), which takes place upstairs in the living space. “hຟē໐l will unfold as an intersection of living space, memory, and shared experience. This intimate presentation will dissolve the boundaries between public and private, offering a rare moment of visitation and exchange within the domestic sphere,” they promise.
