Small classical music presenters keep cropping up around the area, offering more opportunities to hear some of the large pool of gifted musicians perform.
One of the latest is the new nonprofit called the Resonance Project, which aims to make classical music more accessible to more different types of listeners. This Saturday at Forest Hill Church Presbyterian in Cleveland Heights, they’ll be offering a program called Rachmaninov and Franck: Lenten Reflections, an atmospheric candlelit recital by pianist Irwin Shung, who created the series How to Fall in Love with Classical Music. The Lenten program’s music will be tied together with narration.
