Dobama Theatre Holds “Not Another F**king Gala” @ Grog Shop

Sat 4/5 @ 6PM

Dobama Theatre has called itself “Cleveland’s off-Broadway theater” and it’s been presenting challenging, ground-breaking productions — often regional premieres — since 1959.

Like all arts groups, it needs to raise money, so it’s holding an evening it calls “Not Another F**king Gala.” Taking place at the Grog Shop in Coventry Village, it follows a model that’s become popular in recent years as it allows an organization to raise money while still being inclusive. It starts with a VIP event at 6pm, followed by a general admission event at 7pm. As you ca see from the photos, they have a dazzling array of musical, burlesque and drag talent lined up – and the pictured entertainers are only part of the program!

Then at 10pm a low-cost ticket gets you into the late-night afterparty where younger people with less generous budgets show up and party late.
