The annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival, which puts together programs of films that tour the country, is known for combining beautiful scenery, daring action sports and environmental activism, reminding viewers of the extraordinary natural assets we need to protect.
The festival will be returning to Akron, this time to its independent cinema, The Nightlight, sponsored by the Summit Metro Parks Foundation. It will have two screenings, each offering the same group of films, and those who can’t make it down can purchase a virtual ticket to access the films online between February 8 and 14.
Proceeds from the tickets will benefit the foundation’s work to conserve and manage Summit County’s natural resources and help people connect with nature in the parks. Get tickets here.
