String Quartet Plays Bach Pieces for Heights Arts’ Close Encounters Series

Heights Arts’ Close Encounters series gives listeners the chance to hear classical music played by some of the area’s top musician, including members of the Cleveland Orchestra, in an intimate setting.

It’s next concert, the second of its 18th season, takes place at Dunham Tavern in Midtown, and will feature a string quartet performing J.S. Bach’s 1750 The Art of the Fugue Parts I and II. This concert features four Cleveland Orchestra members —violinists Stephen Tavani and Yun-Ting Lee, violist William Bender and cellist Dane Johansen, who is also the curator of the series.
