No Exit New Music’s next concerts will feature a return performance by trombonist John Faieta, who performed for the ensemble in 2022. Faieta spent most of his career performing and teaching in the Boston area, as well as performing with the Atlanta Brass Quintet. He recently moved to the Cleveland area.

When he appears at Heights Arts (February 21) and Trinity Cathedral (February 28), he’ll play an encore program that includes Leonard Bernstein’s 1959 Elegy for Mippy II; Bernard Rands’ 1973 Memo 2; Enrique Crespo’s 1986 Improvisation No. 1; David Felder’s 1986 Boxman, and a new world premiere work by Marti Epstein titled Abluvion.

As always, all No Exit concerts are free and open to all. Go here for more info.
