The B Side Lounge in Cleveland Heights is launching a new series on Sunday evenings called Discover Weekly, featuring a new artist paired with a worthy cause you can support. “We NEED community, and this is a great way to support Greater Cleveland musicians and non-profits who need your ears NOW more than ever,” they say.
The series kicks off with someone who isn’t exactly a “new artist” to area audiences but whose every performance is worth seeing: Apostle Jones frontman Mikey Silas. Mikey will host an evening with special guests Prince Tucker of Late Braces, Frida who fronts Frida and the Mann, and Sadhu of S.Y.S.; they’ll perform music and tell stories about their music and their own life experiences in seeking safe place to exist.
The partnering organization this week is the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, celebrating its 50thanniversary in 2025. Learn more about the outreach work they do and communities they serve.
The event is free and all ages. RSVP here.
