For nearly five decades, Herb Ascherman has been one of northeast Ohio’s leading portrait photographers, with a thriving career as a commercial studio photographer as well as a fine art photographer. His photo series have been exhibited around the world.
He’ll be sharing the secrets that produced his high-quality work in a pair of upcoming workshops in which he’ll cover topics such as available-light photography, lighting techniques, portrait aesthetics, lighting, posing and camera handling.
Participants are invited to bring their cameras and work one-on one with
the model.
The portrait sessions will take place on Saturday March 8, with one session from noon-2pm and the second from 2:30-4:30pm. Each session is $100.
On Saturday March 22, he’ll be holding figure photography sessions, from noon-2pm and 2:30-4:30pm; each session is $200.
