Cleveland Public Theatre’s Test Flight Takes New Plays Out for a Trial Run

Thu 2/6-Sat 2/8 @ 7PM

One of Cleveland Public Theatre’s programs to nurture new work at all stages of development is Test Flight, which this year will be in two parts: one this weekend, and part II in late May-early June. Many of the works first premiered in this program have gone on to full productions on the CPT stage but you can see them here first and offer constructive criticism.

On Friday February 6, Day Ash’s Curtain Call: No Exit is featured, described as “a horror comedy that tells three different stories from very different points of view. On Saturday February 7, playwright Cole Tarantowski’s Handlebar Brakes takes the stage, telling a harrowing story about a group of soldiers in a WW I medical camp. The weekend concludes with Dylan Todd Brown’s The Ascension of Jordan L. Wells During the Total Lunar Eclipse of 2017 on Sunday February 8, “a psychological horror that explores the thin line between belief, sacrifice, and the unknown.”

All three will be staged readings with actors performing with scripts. Go here for tickets.
