Cleveland Photo Fest Offers Two Chances for Photographers to Submit Works for Shows

The Cleveland Photo Festival has been upping its year-round game, offering more opportunities for photographers to show their work. It’s got two more in the offing.

It’s partnering with Rudy’s Strudel for a month-long online and in-store display to celebrate Women’s History Month. It’s inviting people to submit a photo, painting or letter depicting a woman who has inspired them in their life, with a brief story about the submission or a family recipe. Submissions are open through Saturday February 22. For details on submitting, go to clevelandphotofest.org or get a form at Rudy’s Strudel, 5580 Ridge Rd, Parma.

The in-store show officially opens on March 34 aka Paczki Day — Rudy’s is basically ground zero for this event.

At the same time, the Cleveland Photo Fest is sponsoring a show called Through the Lens: A Portrait Show, curated by Cara Gaetano. It will be on view at the Brownhoist, opening April 5 @ 6:30-9pm. Photographers can submit up to three pieces. Submission deadline is March 21. For more details and submission information go to CPF’s website.
