Young Classical Pianist & Violinist Play Informal Concert at Forest City Brewery

Wed 2/5 @ 6PM

While Piano Cleveland is best known for the international piano competition it sponsors for world-class musicians, it also has a mission to offer more opportunities for people in the community to be exposed to piano music.

One of those is its Piano Cleveland Live series of free concerts at informal venues such as Forest City Brewing where its next concert takes place. There you can enjoy some craft brews while taking in music played by pianist Arseniy Gusev and violinist Shannon Lee, who’ll be performing material from their new album Witraż.  The 26-year-old Russian-born pianist is already making waves. He got his undergraduate degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and his master’s degree in composition from Yale, and has released two albums as a solo artist. The Canadian-American Lee is only a little older — at 32, she has won  several competitions, made her orchestral debut at age 12 and since then has performed with symphonies across the U.S. as well as Europe and Japan.

The concert is free and open to the public. No reservation is necessary.
