Art House Inc’s recurring Community Culture Nights give people — whether artists or not — the chance to hear from a local artist about how they create and how they built their artistic practice.
This month, the event will feature photographer Amber Ford, who, in less than ten years since graduating from the Cleveland Institute of Art, has built a flourishing career as both a commercial/editorial freelance photographer and a fine artist, using photography as a base to expand into other mediums such as printmaking, collage and film. In that time, she’s been part of dozens of solo and group shows, and her work has appeared in national as well as local publications. She was a winner of the 2024 Cleveland Arts Prize and is preparing to move to Chicago to continue her education.
The program is free and open to all.
