Pianist Roman Rabinovich Plays Free Concert at Tri-C Metro

Sun 1/26 @ 2PM

Uzbecki-Israeli pianist Roman Rabinovich is well known to Clevelanders. He’s married to violinist Diana Cohen, concertmaster of the Calgary Symphony, who, with her father, Cleveland Orchestra principal clarinetist emeritus Franklin Cohen, co-founded ChamberFest Cleveland in 2012. He’s joined them as partner of a triumvirate of artistic directors and he’s been a frequent performer in the festival.

Rabinovich won the 2008 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition, which launched his international touring career. He’ll be doing a solo piano concert at Tri-C Metro’s Auditorium where he’ll perform

Jean-Philippe Rameau’s selections from Suite in G minor; Maurice Ravel’s Sonatine; Nikolai Medtner’s Sonata reminiscenza, NO. 1, op. 38; Alexander Scriabin’s Piano Snata No. 5, op. 53; and Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.

The concert is free, but reservations are required. Go here.
