La Pecora Pizzbar, which opened in early 2025, brought yet another food option to bustling Larchmere Boulevard next door to Barroco Arepa Bar, with which it shares owners, Juan and Carlos Vergara. Its menu offers authentic Neopolitan wood-fired pizza, similar to their Lakewood establishment, Amazonia. Juan went to Naples to spend some time learning the tricks of the trade and honing recipes created by masters. The menu includes five white and seven red pizzas, as well as extras such as salads and meatballs. The drink list offers beer, cocktails and wines by the glass or bottle.
