Join Other Musical Adventurers for a Freeform Jam at the BOP STOP

Tue 1/21 @ 7:30PM

Tuesdays tend to be a pretty slow evening but if you’re looking for a way to liven them up, once a month the BOP STOP hosts Outlab: Experiments in Improvised Music, which invites adventurous musicians to come on down and take part in some sonic exploration.

Musicians of all levels of experience and skill — and a questing spirit— are welcome to come and bring musical instruments or any sound-making device (drums and keyboard are provided but bring your own amp if you need one) to join in a collective group improvisation. Listeners are welcome too!

They don’t have “rules” — it’s freeform, after all — but they have suggested “guidelines”: “1) to direct our explorations along the most productive and positive lines, and 2) to engage the widest possible variety of individuals from Greater Cleveland’s rich and diverse music scenes.”

It’s free but donations are welcome.
