If you’ve been thinking about getting involved with Cleveland nonprofit Bike Cleveland, which advocates for more comprehensive infrastructure that’s safe for bikes and pedestrians, not just cars, there’s no better time than now.
Bike Cleveland’s annual meeting and social is coming up, taking place at Sokol Greater Cleveland in Slavic Village this weekend. It’s a great chance to meet with other cycling enthusiasts, interact with local bike shops and organizations, have a couple of beers and some food from Ohio City Burrito. It’s free for current members, just if you aren’t already a member, you can pay admission which converts to a membership.
Doors open at 4, with food available at 4:30 and a program/presentation running from 5-6pm. After that it’s time to socialize from 6-7pm.
