A not-so-fancy holiday party on 12.07.24 at Ingenuity’s Hamilton Collaborative space that tells you exactly how to dress: get cozy in your favorite flannel jammies (which many did), or spark it up for the holidays, which some of us attempted.
Ingenuity’s executive artistic director Emily Applebaum welcomed the crowd with the astounding announcement that 100,000 additional square feet of space in the Hamilton Collaborative will now be available to add an additional 20 artists-in-residence to the 30 who already call Ingenuity their home.
The dance floor was grooving to The Cowboy Princess Brigade, featuring singer/strummer Ruby Rose Weston and guitarist Nate Pazzo Bocchicchio, and Jonathan Trobonathan on the trombone. DJ Teddy Eisenberg kept everyone’s feet moving.
Aerialists, acrobats and prop manipulators Crooked River Circus took to the mats for an astounding display of physical dexterity and fearless flights of gravity-defying dives.
Unique craft cocktails were prepared and served by Moon Bunny Libations to keep the mood flowing throughout the evening.
Ingenuity stalwarts Tesla Orchestra sparked the evening to a new level with holiday tunes exploding from the ceiling from four Tesla Coils mounted high above our swirling heads.
In between, party goers were entertained and delighted by visual projections, soldering workshops with the Makers Alliance, a craft & costume bar to accessorize our cozy fit, a Cape Show, and the Ketchup & Mustard Robot Arena!
