It’s that time again. For nearly two weeks, the strains of serious classical music will be replaced at Severance Music Center with the jolly peel of holiday tunes and some serious holiday ambience.
There will be a dozen concerts from Wednesday December 11 through Sunday December 22 led by guest conductor Sarah Hicks and feature the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and the Blossom Festival Chorus, along with the Cleveland Orchestra and pop vocalist and America’s Got Talent Finalist Jimmie Herrod. Additional choruses will perform on select days including the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s Chorus (December 14, 15, 21 and 22 matinees), the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus Chamber Ensemble (December 20-22) and the Wooster Chorus of The College of Wooster (December 12-13).
You can sing along to your favorite carols and the kids can meet Santa and take a photo, and enjoy holiday cookies and a hot cocoa bar.
