For many years, northeast Ohio-based guitarist Neil Zaza took time out from his international touring to put on a holiday show called “One Silent Night” that wasn’t particularly “silent” with its rock & roll versions of holiday classics. In recent years, he’s put more focus on his evolving Halloween production “One Dark Night” which he and his ensemble performed at the Agora in October.
But this year he’s also bringing back “One Silent Night,” described as “where Hendrix meets Beethoven under the Christmas tree.” He has a new holiday-themed album titled The Nutcracker Suite and Other Tales of Christmas Dark and is promising to play some of the 17 tracks on it at the show.
Expect a high-energy performance of some beloved holiday music from this noted instrumental guitarist and his terrific band when they perform at Akron’s Goodyear Theater. Get tickets here.
