The Cleveland Classical Guitar Society brings big-name and rising-star guitarists to Cleveland all year as part of its International Series concerts.
But throughout the year it also offers other chances to enjoy classical guitar playing, in addition to providing opportunities for young players and local musicians to perform in front of an audience. Its open recitals are one such shot, featuring guitarist of all ages at different points in their mastery of classical guitar, including relative beginnings. These recitals are free. One takes place this weekend at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake.
