Bike Cleveland Hosts Its Inaugural Better Streets Film Fest

Sat 12/14 @ 4-6:30PM

The mission of the nonprofit Bike Cleveland is to advocate and work for safer streets for all users, including cyclists and pedestrians. They do this with educational meetings, bike rides, social evenings and other events. And this coming week at the Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square, they’ll be helping to spread the word via their first ever Cleveland Better Streets Film Fest.

It will include 90 minutes of short documentary films about the work people have done to create more sustainable, accessible cities that are more welcoming and safer for biking and walking. Community organizations with similar goals will be on hand to share information about their work and how to get involved. And there’ll be a post-show get-together at Superelectric Pinball next door afterwards.

There’s a suggested donation of $5 but that’s up to you. They welcome more, and they welcome you for free if you have no money! Go here for more information.
