Sun 12/8 @ 3PM
Greg Martin is a Cleveland Institute of Art graduate in industrial design, who has worked in children’s products and toy design as well as decorative lighting. He’s also a fine artist who creates works such as his series of projects called Dust, on view at SHED Projects through December 14. He documented the walls of SHED with vintage and homemade cameras, producing collodion photographs directly on antique lacquer records, which disappear if the record is played. These unique works comprise the show and are available for purchase.
If you’d like to know more about the work and the thought processes behind it Martin and SHED projects co-owner Gabrielle Banzhaf will host a conversation at the gallery, moderated by Jon Gott. It’s free and open to all. They will be serving popcorn.
