Third Friday at 78th Street Studios hits this month just in time for a little last-minute holiday shopping or, if you’re one of those people who plan ahead, a leisurely browse and perhaps the purchase of something for yourself.
If you’re shopping be sure to check out the new shops/artist spaces downstairs on the Ramp Level in back on the southeast side. Also on the Ramp Level you’ll find the Cleveland Bazaar’s Last Minute Market. NorthCoast Promotions will have its vendors in the first floor SmARTspace.
And throughout the building you’ll find tons of stuff to ogle and maybe buy: check out the mirror-ball plant holders at Lindsey Krivenki’s Variegate Design on the first floor or pick up one of painter Eileen Dorsey’s affordable prints of her new work in her studio, also on the first floor. Go to the back of the first floor and drop in E11even2, which specializes in affordable pop culture-based work all year round.
If you don’t want to miss anything, go all the way up to Context Gallery at the back of the third floor, which also houses artist studios, with plenty of art and artsy items available for sale.
Look for musicians scattered around the building playing music to liven things up.
Third Friday is free and open to all, including well-behaved pets.
