Summit Artspace and the Akron Bazaar, an offshoot of the Cleveland Bazaar, have formed a new partnership this year to broaden their reach on one of the biggest holiday shopping weekends of the year, hoping to offer an even larger opportunity for people to shop local.
Summit Artspace’s traditional Artists Sunday Weekend will be expanded with Akron Bazaar vendors both at Summit Artspace and its downtown location at 159 S. Main Street; all weekend free shuttles will take shoppers between the two locations. There’ll be more than 70 vendors at Summit Artspace and the Happy Camper Bar Car will be onsite serving holiday-style drinks on all three days. And Summit Artspace’s galleries will be open so visitors can check out their current shows.
