SHED Projects Hosts First-Year Anniversary Benefit

Sun 11/10 @ 4-6PM

SHED Projects is a house gallery opened earlier this year that shows artwork by artists from around the country — mostly installation-type work. It was started in 2021 by Jon Gott and Gabrielle Banzhaf at their home in New Orleans; last year they brought the concept with them to northeast Ohio.

Now for the second year, they’re hosting their Editions fundraiser, a preview evening with food and drinks and a look at some new art. “In our first year in Cleveland, we hosted 17 programs, launched the One Piece Viewing series, held two residencies, and published a novel,” they share. “This year, highlights include several two-person exhibitions, a listening event, a partnership with the International Association of Veterinary Social Workers, Cleveland small business duckrabbitcoffee, and the installation of our first permanent sculpture.”

The art on display will include work by Conrad Bakker, John Carlson, Lauren Davies, Rachel Eckenrode & Jon Gott, Shanex Jamal, Margaret Kammerer, Jorge Lucero, Travis Morehead, Shari Wilkins, Christian Wulffen and Jade Yumang.

All proceeds from this event will support its 2025 roster of artists. Go here for tickets.
