Cleveland Rocks: Past Present Future is a founded by Beachland Ballroom co-owner Cindy Barber to give musicians resources to advance their career. Once again it hosted its Rock Solid benefit at the Treelawn in the Waterloo Arts District to raise money for its programs. The sold-out crowd feasted on roasted potatoes, fancy PP & J sandwiches, a root vegetable and greens medley and, for those who indulge, sirloin sandwiches, while enjoying music by three bands representing different eras of music: Kent’s Numbers Band, founded in 1970; Mourning [A] BLKStar, together for a decade; and young rockers LoConti who just hit the scene in the last couple of years.
