Thu 11/21 @ 6-9PM
Pecha Kucha is back at the City Club with another outstanding group of presenters — movers and shakers in the business, civic and arts community.
For those who’ve never been to such an event, it features a group of speakers, who talk about their work or project in 20 slides which they speak about for 20 seconds each. The events have been around for two decades and have taken place all over the world and in all kinds of settings. They’ve been held at various locations around Cleveland as well.
Some of the speakers at this week’s event include Jeremy Johnson, president/CEO of Assembly for the Arts; arts advocate/producer and bike enthusiast Deidre McPherson; Darl Schaaff who has created his Darl Center for the Arts in Slavic Village; Ken Schneck, founder/publisher of Ohio’s only LGBTQ+ publication, The Buckeye Flame; Heights poet laureate Siaaara Freeman; mental health advocate and founder of Ghetto Therapy Walter Patton; and more.
It’s free; reserve your spot here.
