Cleveland Botanical Garden’s Holiday Exhibit “Frost” Offers More Spectacle Than Ever

Sat 11/23-Sun 1/5/25

Each year, the Cleveland Botanical Garden puts on one of the city’s most spectacular displays of Christmas décor. Last year, it revamped the annual show as Frost: An Ice-Capped Garden Experience. Now it’s presenting Frost for the second year, opening this week and running through January 5, 2025.

The show includes an even larger outdoor lighting display with a holiday light trail reaching into more areas including the newly redone Hershey Children’s Garden, a moving light tunnel and a rainbow-lit rose garden

There are also expanded decorations in the garden’s glass biomes where visitors will find Raine and Shine, spirits representing the wet and dry seasons that mark winter weather in different parts of the world.  Visitors can enjoy a dozen themed rooms and larger-than-life animals.

There’ll be plenty of the old standbys from years past as well, including the trees and wreaths decorated by various area garden clubs and of course, the gingerbread houses. Evening hours on Friday and Saturday will feature live music and cirque performances, and on Sundays from 3-5pm students from the Cleveland Institute of Music will perform.

There’s also a packed calendar of special events over the next six weeks. Go here for more information and tickets.
