Bicyclists Ride to Feed the Hungry at Cranksgiving

Sat 11/23 @ 11AM

Bicycle enthusiasts with big hearts are once again invited to take part in Bike Cleveland’s annual Cranksgiving event to get some cycling miles in while helping people in the community in need.

Riders will gather at the BottleHouse Brewery and Meadery in Cleveland Heights at 11am to register, pick up a map of nearby grocery stores and what items to get for donation. They then fan out, starting at 11:30, to collect the listed items, spending an average of $20 each. All items must be carried by bike, in a basket, wagon, or panier — no cars allowed! Average ride is 15 miles; you can do more or less as you choose. Come back to the BottleHouse with your purchases between 1:30-1:45 and a closing program at 2pm. Stick around to have a drink and socialize with fellow riders.

Register here.

If you’re on the west side, there’s also a Cranskgiving Lakewood. Go here for more information.
