Slow Roll Cleveland, the weekly social bike rides that take place in different neighborhoods around Cleveland every Monday from May through October, wrap up this week with the annual Halloween ride.
The rides meet each week at a different Cleveland location and pedal through a city neighborhood at a comfortable pace suitable for all ages and skill levels for about ten miles. Some rides this summer have attracted as many as 400 riders so it’s a great opportunity to meet others who enjoy cycling for fun.
The Halloween ride rolls out from Market Square Park across from the West Side Market. Riders are encouraged to come in costume and decorate their bikes for the holiday as well. And since it will be almost dark by the time the ride sets out, it wouldn’t hurt to make a lot of those decorations light-up. You will definitely want lights on your bike. The ride is free and open to all.
