Despite being declared no longer a “swing state,” the Harris Walz Reproductive Freedom bus made a quick, unprompted stop in Cleveland (maybe traveling between Pennsylvania and Michigan?) at Perk Plaza downtown where three of Ohio’s Democratic Congresspeople — Cleveland’s Shontel Brown, Akron’s Emilia Sykes and Columbus’s Joyce Beatty — appeared to speak to the assembled crowd of activists, along with a group of doctors supporting reproductive rights. They generated a lot of enthusiasm as yard signs were passed out and long-time activist Lana Moresky moved among the crowd, signing up people to write postcards, at this “rally the troops” event.
