Nightmare on 43rd Is a Multi-Sensory Halloween Season Art Experience

Sat 10/12 @ 8PM-2AM

An organization called the Midnight Art Club, which creates installations and events, is hosting a Halloween-season event it’s calling Nightmare on 43rd (its space, the Duality Complex, is on East 43rd Street).

It claims that “The Midnight Corp. has been experimenting with a vacuum form wave energy generator that has torn open portals in our cathedral laboratory on 43rd street unleashing a vast nightmare of creatures and mind bending environments,” and invites guests to “Help us close these portals and send these creatures and otherworldly intruders back to where they came from!”

What it’s offering is an evening of multi-sensory fun and excitement, with Burning Man-type art installations, fire spinning and flow acts, DJs, theatrical circus acts, a costume contest, and live music by Frida & the Mann, Scene, Goofy FM, Metamorphosis Tori and Brandon Feels. There’ll be food trucks and a pop-up bar for sustenance.

Go here for tickets. All money raised will go to the nonprofit Midnight Art Club for future arts programming.
