Neighborhood Pets’ Howl-Ween Raises Money to Help Pet Owners in Need

Thu 10/24 @ 6-8PM

One of the organizations we wholeheartedly support is Neighborhood Pets Outreach and Resource Center, based in Slavic Village. Founded by animal lover Becca Britton, the nonprofit provides services to low-income pet owners who otherwise might have had to give up their closest friend and emotion support.

They’re hosting a benefit “Howl-Ween” party, “a spooktacular dog costume party,” taking place at Nano Brew in Ohio City. Yes, that’s right — your dog is also invited and he/she can come in costume. Perhaps you can both dress in matching or coordinated costumes! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!

Admission is free. There’ll be a cash bar and regular menu available. Save some money to buy tickets to drop in the buckets to win raffle prizes, including two tickets to the Browns-Steelers game on November 21 here in Cleveland. You know I’d be skipping that bucket, but there’ll likely be some good stuff as well. And whether your ticket is pulled or not, all the money goes help pets and their owners.
