Make Some Spooky Sketches in the Art Museum Atrium

Sat 10/19 @ 11AM-3PM

Once a month, on every third Saturday, the Cleveland Museum of Art hosts an interactive artmaking demonstration in its Ames Family Atrium. There, a local artist introduces people to their particular brand of artmaking and invites them to make some art of their own.

This month’s event, like almost everything this month, has a Halloween-related theme. “Spooky Sketches” will be led by Angela Oster, who is known for her delicate, humorous drawings of macabre figures. She’ll be doing some drawing onsite and showing visitors how to create their own images of supernatural figures inspired by the current Cleveland Museum of Art show Demons, Ghosts and Goblins in Chinese Art.

Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm. It’s free and family-friendly.
