It’s become a tradition for Kent’s Standing Rock Cultural Arts to present its annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit at its North Water Street Gallery in celebration of the Mexican holiday honoring the ancestors. And when it opens on October 26, it will be celebrating not only the 22ns year of the show but also the 32nd year of the SRCA Gallery.
Artists include both familiar names and artists new to the gallery including Maria Burr Walter, Ingeborg Richter, Jim Zeller, Trey Berry, Greta Ramey, Kathryn Lawson, Nikki Puccini, Kenny Borsch, Vince Packard, and others to be announced, creating work in multiple mediums, including drawing, painting and sculpture, with a Day of the Dead theme.
The show opens with a party on October 26. It will be on view through November 30. It’s free and open to all.
