Goldie’s Donuts & Bakery opened its first location in Lyndhurst in 2017, offering a couple of dozen donut and pastry choices to east suburbanites with a sweet tooth: chocolate buttercream fluff, Goldie’s kruller, not-so-plain glazed and powdered sugar, and non-donut items such as brownies, glazed croissants, muffins and cookies. Then in 2023, it opened a second location on Lorain Road in Ohio City to bring the same treats to that rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, creating a chic spot to kick back and enjoy the made-from-scratch-daily (in Lyndhurst) goodies, along with coffee drinks and house coffee blends, seven days a week.
