Wed 10/23 @ 7PM

A local organization called M.U.S.I.C. (Musical Upcoming Stars in the Classics) has put together a free program of spooky seasonal music to be performed in the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Ames Family Atrium.

An ensemble of up-and-coming musicians from top conservatories will place pieces such as Felix Mendelsson’s “Witches Song,” Franz Schubert’s “Elfking, Modest Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” Antonio Bazzini’s “Dance of the Goblins,” and William Bolcom’s ‘Graceful Ghost Rag,” among others.

Among the featured musicians are violinists Victor Beyens, Maria Beyens, John Fawcett and Maude Cloutier; pianists Alexander Kostritsa, Jackson Naglick and Harrison Benford; cellist Brendon Phelps; sopranos Catherina Carrington and Lisl Wangermann; and tenors Lucas Spencer and Connor Vrooman, along with a special guest, Cleveland Orchestra horn player Hans Clebsch.
