Cleveland Comedy Festival Offers Four Days of Laughs

Wed 11/6-Sat 11/9

We could all use some laughter these days, although with what some “comedians” have spewed recently, it’s understandable that some people would be leery of onstage comedy.

You likely won’t have to deal with that at the 17th annual Cleveland Comedy Festival, taking place in Ohio City for four days. More than 50 comics will be descending on the city from all over the country as well as Canada, with plenty of local faces onstage as well.

This year’s main venue is Forest City Brewery with some shows also taking place just a few blocks away (easily walkable) at Market Avenue Wine Bar & Market Garden Brewery. Not only does the event feature such headliners as Cleveland’s Best Female Comedian” Tabitha Jones, Philly podcaster Rob Stant, Anjelica Scannura on her first headlining U.S. tour, Brian Sullivan from PBS’s Laughing Matters, festival alum Andrew Packer and Sam Miller (not the Forest City Sam Miller), but also “Roast Battle Cleveland” and “Your Art Sucks: A Roast of Fine Art,” and late-night showcases with future stars. Try out a few events or immerse yourself in four full days of comedy.
