Elio Calabrese opened Urban Planting in 2017 to spread the gospel of house plants — to share his love for creating healthy green environments indoors. He slowly turned his expertise in indoor growing into a thriving business, starting with pop-ups and then moving into a small storefront on Clifton in 2019. Its next step was its expansive space in Tremont where you can shop for plants and accessories such as planters for your home, office or store or consult with him on providing plantings for your business, restaurant or special event.
